Cut the onion into small pieces and fry it. Once it has browned, remove half of it and set it aside.

Half the onion should be seasoned with garlic, ginger, salt, pepper, cardamom, black pepper, cumin, cinnamon, cloves, bay leaf, and yogurt.

Cook the onion until it is turn golden brown.

When it is done, add the meat.  Mutton should be cooked with enough water to melt the meat, while chicken does not require water.

Prepare the potatoes by cutting them into pieces and boiling them until they’re a little hard.

Boil the rice and then wash it with water after it has been soaked for half an hour in water.

After the meat is fully cooked, add tomatoes, green chillies, coriander, mint, aloe vera, boiled potatoes, and fried onions.

Now put a layer of rice on it and add meat seasoning on it and on top add curry powder, food coloring and sugar.

Then, place the burner on low heat and let it cook until the rice is tender and fully cooked. Serve with raita & salad before eating.
