In and Out Burger Recipe

In-N-Out Burger is a beloved fast-food chain known for its delicious burgers and secret menu items. While their exact recipe is a closely guarded secret, here is a recipe that comes pretty close to the original In-N-Out Burger taste:

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. ground beef (preferably 80% lean, 20% fat)
  • Salt and pepper
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 slices of American cheese
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Onion
  • In-N-Out Burger Spread (see recipe below)

Instructions:

  1. Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties that are slightly wider than the buns. Season each patty with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Preheat a grill or a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the burgers for 3-4 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  3. While the burgers are cooking, toast the buns in a toaster or on the grill/skillet until lightly browned.
  4. Once the burgers are cooked, add a slice of cheese to each patty and allow it to melt.
  5. Assemble the burgers by spreading the In-N-Out Burger Spread on the bottom and top buns, then adding lettuce, tomato, and onion to the bottom bun. Place the burger patty with cheese on top of the veggies, and cover with the top bun.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy your homemade In-N-Out Burger!
