Recipe Of Ortega Burger

Here is a recipe for Ortega burgers:


  • 1 pound ground beef
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 slices of cheese
  • 1 can of Ortega chili peppers
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Onion
  • Mayonnaise


  1. Preheat the grill or stove top to medium-high heat.
  2. Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape it into patties. Season each patty with salt and pepper.
  3. Place the patties on the grill or stove top and cook for 4–5 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your desired level of oneness.
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare the toppings. Slice the lettuce, tomato, and onion, and set aside.
  5. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or stove top.
  6. To assemble the burgers, place a patty on the bottom half of each bun. Add a slice of cheese on top of the patty.
  7. Drain the Ortega chili peppers and place a few peppers on top of the cheese.
  8. Add some lettuce, tomato, and onion to top of the peppers.
