4 eggs
1/2 onion, finely chopped
1/2 tomato, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
Salt, to taste
1 tablespoon oil or ghee
Coriander leaves, chopped, for garnish


  • In a bowl, beat the eggs with a fork until the yolks and whites are well combined. Set aside.
  • Heat the oil or ghee in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
  • Add cumin seeds & let them roast until color change.
  • Sauté the chopped onion until translucent.
  • Cook the chopped tomato until it becomes soft and mushy.
  • Salt, turmeric powder, and red chili powder should be added. Combine well.
  • Pour the beaten eggs into the pan and stir gently with a spatula.
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the eggs are cooked and scrambled.
