Sindhi Biryani Or Famous Sindhi Biryani
The reason it is called Sindhi Biryani is that Sindhi people like potatoes in rice, so it also includes potatoes in this form of biryani. So based of this fact, it is called Sindhi Biryani.
Ingredients of famous sindhi biryani
Chicken or mutton: 1 to 1.5 kg
Rice: 1 kg
Potatoes: One gram
Tomatoes: 2 to 3 pieces
Yogurt: 250 grams
Aloo Bukhara: 10 to 15 pieces
Red pepper: 1 teaspoon
Salt: to taste
Onion: 3 pieces
Garlic paste: 2 tbsp
Ginger: 1 teaspoon
Small cardamom: 8 pieces
Large cardamom: 4 pieces
Living: 10 pieces
Pepper: 10 pieces
Cumin: 1 teaspoon
Cinnamon: 1 teaspoon
Bay leaves: 2 pieces
Oil: 250 grams
Green Chilies: 6 tbsp
Green coriander: a little bit
Mint: A little bit
Kewra: 1 teaspoon
Food color (yellow) 2 clicks
Sugar: 1 teaspoon
How To Cook Sindhi Biryani Or Famous Sindhi Biryani or Method of Sindhi Biryani
Cut the onion into small pieces and fry it. Once it has browned, remove half of it and set it aside.
Half the onion should be seasoned with garlic, ginger, salt, pepper, cardamom, black pepper, cumin, cinnamon, cloves, bay leaf, and yogurt.
Cook the onion until it is turn golden brown.
When it is done, add the meat. Mutton should be cooked with enough water to melt the meat, while chicken does not require water.
Prepare the potatoes by cutting them into pieces and boiling them until they’re a little hard.
Boil the rice and then wash it with water after it has been soaked for half an hour in water.
After the meat is fully cooked, add tomatoes, green chillies, coriander, mint, aloe vera, boiled potatoes, and fried onions.
Now put a layer of rice on it and add meat seasoning on it and on top add curry powder, food coloring and sugar.
Then, place the burner on low heat and let it cook until the rice is tender and fully cooked. Serve with raita & salad before eating.
